Best Kept Village Competition Results 2011
Forty villages took part in this years competition. Champion villages in the four categories awarded cheques of £125, oak & iron plaques and framed certificates. Runners up receive £50 and a certificate. The Best New Entrant receives £100 and a framed certificate. During August the four winners compete for the Wilkinson "Best of Notts" Award.
Category A (population 2000 and over)

Category B (population 700-2000)
Winner, Woodborough Runner-up, Coddington
Finalists, Cropwell Bishop & Shireoaks.
Category C (population 300-700)
Winner, Everton Runner-up, Orston
Finalists, Bunny & Gringley on the Hill.
Category Small Village (population under 300)
Winner, Linby Runner-up, Widmerpool
Finalists, Morton & Harby.
Best New Entrant
Winner, Cropwell Bishop.
All cheques and certificates will be presented at the AGM of the Notts Association of Local Councils on 16th November. Plaques will be unveiled in the prize winning villages during the autumn.
